Trust & Transparency
Editorial Standards
How we research, write, verify, and maintain the educational content on ECCStudy. Our commitment to every student and family who relies on our guides.
Official Sources Only
Every factual claim in our articles — examination dates, eligibility criteria, fee structures, admission processes, scholarship amounts — is verified against the primary official source: cbse.gov.in, nios.ac.in, nta.ac.in, scholarships.gov.in, or the relevant ministry notification. We do not publish information based on secondary sources, press reports, or social media posts without official confirmation.
Named Authors & Editorial Team
All content is written and reviewed by named members of the Vidyapath editorial team — education journalists, former school administrators, and subject-matter researchers with direct experience in India's education system. Author credentials are shown on every article.
Verification Before Publication
Before any article is published, its key claims are cross-checked against the official source. For articles on examinations, admission dates, or scholarship eligibility, the relevant official portal is accessed directly and the specific notification or circular is cited as the basis for the information.
Timely Updates
Educational information changes — exam dates shift, eligibility criteria are revised, new scholarship schemes are announced. When official updates are released, we update the relevant articles within 24–48 hours. Updated articles display a "Last Updated" date alongside the original publication date.
No Paid Placement
We do not accept payment to include, exclude, rank, or recommend any educational institution, coaching centre, or service in our editorial content. Our recommendations — where made — are based solely on official recognition, student outcomes, and verified information. We have no commercial relationship with any coaching institute, private school, or test-preparation service.
Clear Guidance vs Advice
We provide educational guidance and factual information. We do not provide personalised academic, legal, or financial advice. Our guides explain what official processes are and how they work — students and families are encouraged to verify critical decisions with official sources or qualified counsellors.
Independence
ECCStudy is an independent editorial platform. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or funded by CBSE, NIOS, NTA, any state education board, or the Ministry of Education. Our operation is supported by advertising and sponsorship clearly labelled as such — never embedded in editorial content.
Corrections Policy
If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the corrected article with an explanation of what changed and when. We do not silently edit errors without acknowledgment.
